Crew: Sabine, Joe, Ali, Chris, Graciela and Geoff1900 hrs - Motored out to Oriental Bay where we put the anchor down, had swims, drank champagne and watched the sunset. Water was warm and no wind. Idyllic!2030 hrs - We motored back to Chaffers Marina at for supper, drinks, music and watch the amazing Chinese New Year fireworks!

Got the broken stanchion welded at Metalworx Engineering (04-384 5113). After replacing the stanchion I cleaned all the stainless steel pushpit, pulpit and stanchions with Grunt Emergel so they looked like new. Then contracted Hurricane Rigging to replace all the life lines with new 4mm steel cables and the plastic covers on the top one.... Continue Reading →
