Got the broken stanchion welded at Metalworx Engineering (04-384 5113).
After replacing the stanchion I cleaned all the stainless steel pushpit, pulpit and stanchions with Grunt Emergel so they looked like new.
Then contracted Hurricane Rigging to replace all the life lines with new 4mm steel cables and the plastic covers on the top one. They did an excellent job.
