Evans Bay – 6 Jan 2016

Crew: Jo, Olivia, Graciela and Geoff
Marine Forecast: Southeast 10 knots. Turning northerly 10 knots in the evening. Sea slight. Fine.

Light winds and clear skies. Beautiful day for a short sail in the southerly breezes with first-time sailors, Jo and Olivia as far as Kau Bay. We then practised our tacking into the southerly in Evans Bay,

By the time we got back past Point Jerningham the wind petered out so we made a cup of tea and motored back to Chaffers Marina.
